An ancient steel mill, for modern standards, it was founded in the early 1850ties and ran until 2009. Now only the former powerplant, and the Blast furnace are still standing. Waiting for humans to return a use to them.
The property itself will be developed in the years to come. The blast furnace is from the year 1963. It was overhauled countless times. It had a diameter of 9.75 Meters at its closure. When it was new, it was at only 7.75 meters, which was peak in the region back then.
Build by the DEMAG. The powerplant is from the 1850ties and was modernized countless times, but kept its orginial buildings. 1990ties led to the closure of it. Only pumps ran longer, it was mostly a storage in the end.
