The last mineshaft of the last german coal mine, can it be even more historic? It wasnt where the closing ceremony was held, but it was the most vital point of operations over the last years. In late 2018, the mining ceased. In the 2020s the location was abandoned and the entrance was filled. Currently being used for a concrete mixing plant and storage, this is due to the fact that a nearby mineshaft still needs to be sealed but lacks the space for this kind of operations.
